I have an idea for reuse in the transportation field. My idea is to split water into hydrogen and oxygen. Then use this hydrogen for combustion and the exhaust which we get is water.

This water is again supplied for splitting or electrolysis. This electrolysis is powered either by solar energy achieved through the solar panels attached on the hood or the energy achieved

through regenerative braking. This car is also braked by applying a reverse magnetic field to the coils attached in the wheel hubs as shown in of the drawings.

Expanded polystyrene, known as styrofoam, is an environmentally friendly material that does not emit toxic to humans or the environment of substances.It acts as an insulation material that can greatly reduce energy consumption, has sound-proofing qualities.The main properties of polystyrene due to the fact that he was on 98% of air and gas, as is known, shows the lowest thermal conductivity. My idea is based on taking the girbaud spirit, and incorporate a graphic touch, that represents the diversity and magic of my hands.

The reason why I choose “Indonesia-ku” as the title of my project because I want to let people closer about Indonesia.

Bagabond is the perfect complement for travelers. It holds a separable outside pocket attached to the bag through adjustable straps.

Its wallet can be removed anytime you don’t feel like carrying the whole set. The wallet includes a map of whichever city you are going to, and can be changed to fit your needs.

The Bagabond has been made re-using paper maps. They have been then covered with a plastic-layer to make them waterproof and more resitant.the lightness of the paper and the possibility of wrinkling and compressing it without being damaged, make Bagabond the perfect item for travelers.

This is my graduatin project (in progress), and the idea came when I was asking myself “How can I contribute for the city I live? What could I do, as an architect, to improve the quality of the built environment?

Observing that my city had some unfinished developments turining those areas depreciated, I could appropriate one of them in order to enhance their surroundings by bringing new life to downtown.

Twopointoh is a project that brings together people who share their interest and passion in finding interesting furniture pieces.

Twopointoh is a community that creates a design label and a brand. It brings together owners, designer/makers and buyers, collectors. It reaches the gap between these users and gives a platform for them to exchange ideas and make connections. Apart from providing an online platform and a meeting point for those with the same interest, Twopointoh aims to create a furniture label and a brand. It is a label that has been created by the community.

It organizes auctions where people can physically see the furniture created. Twopointoh is a project that brings together those creative minded people who want to create value by using already available resources.

The aim is to give second life for an item/furniture. The name of the project comes from the idea of resourcing a piece of furniture.

Organic particle is a representation of a structure that takes part in the re-use function the environment. Taking features of nature and putting it inside helps the building to sustain itself by creating a green effect. Its curvilinear facade captures wind flow and distributes it around it. Double low-e glazing allow for a balance in temperature at the inside. Solar generated panel coatings are attached on windows to absorb heat and store it for future use.

Rain water is also collected and processed for the distribution of its spaces. Recycled material such as prefab concrete and silicon birch finish is integrated into the design to reduce the amonut of expenses. In addtion, radiant floor heating is generated by geothermal pipes that gather power. This overall design reuses natural features in order to sustain itself.

For the past 18 months I have been working for bank. I am part of a staff comprised of over 4,600 employees. To carry out our daily duties, we have to use technological resources such as computers, and printers. Thus, while we are working within the facilities of the bank, we consume electricity to light our work areas, and we also need different items for our personal care (e.g. paper hand towels). All of these supplies and resources are used up in high quantities.

As regards the above, I would like to present 4 particular problems I have observed:

1. The employees seem to prefer leaving their computers on when they leave the facilities of the bank.

2. Bond paper for regular printing is frequently printed on one side only.

3. The employees use large amounts of paper hand towels to dry their hands or face.

4. The lights in the offices are sometimes on, even if there is nobody in there.

I feel that this is an opportunity to develop an environmental awareness campaign for the staff, so that the expenses in the company can be reduced. This initiative needs in depth research to identify the problems and, subsequently, design the most appropriate communication strategy. Apart from this, the effectiveness of the communication strategy will be measured by a quantitative estimation of expenses and consumption before and after this campaign was launched. I fully intend to create this proposal by Design Thinking methodology to develop products through graphic design so that the best results will be obtained.

Specific objectives:

1. To increase the number of employees that turn their computers off during outside office hours by 30%.

2. To reduce bond paper consumption by 10%.

3. To reduce the consumption of paper hand towels by 50% and form the habit of using recycled-cloth towels among the employees.

4. To strengthen awareness of switching the lights off when the last employee leaves the office.

5. To achieve the specific objectives by raising and strengthening the staff’s awareness instead of purchasing controlling software or expensive electronic devices.

In order to accomplish each one of the objectives stated before, an information campaign has been created and designed. Each campaign has a specific solution for the 4 particular problems and it is composed by an institutional screensaver, e-mail and print media.

This proposal has an ecological scope since it seeks to benefit the environment by reducing the consumption of paper and energy. It has a social scope as it aims to convince the staff of the company to change their attitudes and behaviors regarding their habits. And it finally has an economic scope since it wants to persuade the company to carry out this project to save money and reduce expenses.

The inspiration for this project came from thoughts about everyday life.

I want to use something from our life, what I, personally, never thought about, as a potential material for making clothes. I choose pads. (unused off course)

I like to make first of all the fabric and after that the garment. So I saw that the pads has an interesting texture and you can sew the pad and paint on it. You can use it directly for making the fabric or you can scan the object and use the image as a digital print.

The structure of a pad is beneficial for paint.

So I think there are a lot of variations of using the pad as is or it’s texture and structure in some areas of design.
