Project Title: Sustainable Medicine
Selected for Scholarships 2009-10, Master of Graphic Design, School of Design, IED Barcelona

Sustainable medicine is a project to raise awareness of available natural resources for safe, and side-effect free care. The project will be including several projections or posters that will point to a website with information on sustainable medicine.

The importance of this campaign is to provide information on how use of pharmaceuticals acts as pollutant for our planet and our bodies and to come up with more responsible solutions.

The campaign is to be used as a source of information on how each person, hospital, business that is involved in health can contribute towards a healthier solution.

Individuals can do so through personal education, doctors and hospitals through more conscious prescribing, and hospitals and business through better handling of medicines with which they work - therefore minimizing contamination of water and soil.

The majority of information will be provided through the website. This website will serve as medium of communication and exchange between people as well as as information - which will lead to better awareness of the issue.
