Project Title: Little Actions Selected for Scholarships 2009-10, Master of Brand Management and Advertising Communication, School of Communication, IED Milano

There are countless ways to make the world a better place. There are many alternatives within the subject, ‘how to change the world’. These include: ecology, human rights, poverty or social inequality, but not everyone has the same challenges, priorities or goals.

I decided to create an advertisement for all ages, using an easy way to communicate. The focus of my advertisement is to highlight a problem that is universal and to encourage small changes in daily lives that in mass will result in a better world.

This project is designed to give the public, through advertising, ideas showing how the world can be improved as a result of routine actions.  To do this I created simple phrases which were hypothetically said by people with great influence in the arts, politics and social justice. They are: Mahatma Gandhi, Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Che Guevara, John Lennon, Albert Einstein, Alfred Hitchcock, Michael Jackson

The sentences cover ecological themes such as not using polluted products, using renewable resources and recycling. Little actions can make a big difference and effectively help the environment without requiring much time or effort.  An action can change thousands of lives and help renew the entire world.
