Three people have been killed and several others injured in explosions caused by a gas leak at two restaurants in the United Arab Emirates.
According to Arab media, an explosion took place in a restaurant in Abu Dhabi, in which two people were killed.
Adjacent shops were also destroyed in the blast, but the residential building and residents remained safe from the effects of the blast.
The second blast at a Dubai restaurant killed an Asian man, according to Emirati officials. Both blasts were caused by a leak in gas cylinders.
